Do Vampires Have Sharp Teeth ??

This year I finally let my Mother show the older kids the SCARY movie Van Helsink.
For three years the kids have been wanting to watch it. Now, I have to admitt Bill and I really wouldn't even consider this, but I have grown up with this Dark Woman as my mother. She loved to show us scary things at the weirdest moments....Like Bad Ronald on Easter or Killer Clowns from Outer Space, It and of course The Lady in White. Now it would be unfair to let you think that's we didn't watch happy, joyful kid appropriate flicks and musicals but they were always spiced with those ghoulish scares!

Well now all Brad walks around saying is " Vampires Have Sharp Teeth" We now all have sharp teeth and are wondering what on earth Mom plans on showing us next year for Halloween.

Hau'oli la Hanau

The Hawaiian Islands have nothing on the Sanders Family Backyard, as it was transformed into an island Paradise to celebrate Candice Mac Isaac Sanders 30th Birthday. Bill, Kay, Bill, Kim, Logan, Billy, Aubrey, Brad and a tad bit of help from Laurie & Mark the Birthday Party of the year was a huge success. Everyone was all hands on deck for decorations with tons of behind the scene planning by Kay and Kim. But whats a party if the crowd doesn't come and we built and they came. We loved having such a wonderful happy group together to celebrate the birthday of this special young lady. Our senses were treated to vivid Island colors, delicious cuisine, breathing taking entertainment, and of the course good friends and family. I could go on but I want to let the pictures do the talking. We are so blessed with wonderful family, friends and an abundance of life. Mahalo

So while they went on a long over due overnight romantical evening, we got to play with Nonie and Grandpa. Not a bad deal !

One Proud Family

I am sure our Mothers Day News made the headlines.....but in case you haven't heard our little baby boy, well our oldest son Billy gave a talk in sacrament on Mothers Day. Billy's fans came out in record numbers the entire Granada Ward, his Grandparents on both sides, his great grandmothers Darlene, his cousins and of course the President....well the Stake President. Billy looked handsome as his beaming Father in his suit and tie. He did a wonderful job..spoke like a future Bishop, strong , confident and funny at the right times. When he finished the crowd went wild with cheers of approval, pom poms waving, and confetti flying. Fine it ended with loud amens but I know there were silent cheers in the audience and in heaven above. Across town in Henderson my dear sister Katie's kids were standing on their stage belting out Mothers Day Songs. In fact I am sure cousins all over the Unties States were all singing those great songs. After listening to our group and hearing Katie's stories I am positive that all the little grandchildren will become opera singers just like their Nonnie. It was a special day start to finish and of course the men in our life did a fantastic job of honoring mothers and teaching our children how to carry on this rich tradition.

The Final Chapter in The Sanders Saga

Good News people the Sanders family made it to the promised land. They reached the Whittier Stake Friday, April 24, 2009. After several practice runs the family met with cheers and happiness as they reached the stage on time for the Whittier Stake's 50Th Reunion. They looked like they had just stepped out of the stream , fresh as daisies and radiant as always. The only thing missing was little pioneer girl Amery but she was out searching for happiness that she could not find on the Pioneer Trail. Congratulations Sanders You Made !

Lights Camera Action !

The Sanders Family is the next epic story of Modern Mormon Families. Called to plan games for 200 children to celebrate Whittier Stake's 50 Reunion the Sanders accept the challege and forge ahead but alas the trek is not over now they are called to make a really simple walk on performance for the Saturday Night event. It has taken an ugly turn ,they must do more then be and Pioneers and sing as they walk and walk and walk...Amery was cut from the family 5 minutes after being on stage, Candice must build a stick pony for Brad to ride, if he feels inclined to ride that night, Aubrey must rock a doll ( which she claims is lame ), Billy must take off his
tight PJ's to go to practice for his parents fear that he may look like a dork....The costumes search has begun and they have been told the ones they selected were not of the correct time period....Will this family make the Saturday practice, will this family make the show, will they ever reach their destination ...stay tuned for The Pioneer Sanders Saga
